Christ is Risen! Alleluia!

Easter Sunday masses were conducted simultaneously throughout the Parish. The festive High Mass was held at the Queen of Angels' Church - Rawathawatte. A large congregation was seen throughout the church grounds, who they all rejoiced the Risen Lord - Jesus Christ. After mass the devotees took the statue of the Risen Lord in procession to the borders of Rawathawatte and Katubedda.

The Y. C. S. Movement of the church organized a Ice cream stall to greet the returning devotees.
