The festive high mass of the Angulana St. Francis Xavier's Church was held by Rev. Fr. Ruvan Pradeep together with Rev. Fr. Tyronne Perera (Parish Priest), Rev. Fr. Prasanna Fernando (Assistant Parish Priest) and Bro. Samira (of Angulana).

After mass the devotees went in procession with the statue of St. Francis Xavier accompanied by the church band and Legion of Mary band. Thousands of Catholic's and non-Catholic's gathered on the sides of the streets to receive the blessings from the statue through the traditional method of crawling under the statue. After the procession Rev. Fr. Prasanna Fernando who had been a sale of guidance throughout the feast blessed the devotees with the statue.
