Devotees of the Lunawa the Ss. Peter & Paul\'s Church welcomed our Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Tyronne Perera in grand style as they celebrated his 14th ordination anniversary. Rev. Fr. Tyronne Perera who is a well experienced Parish Priest was made the Parish Priest of the Rawatawatte Parish in 2007 by his Grace the Archbishop of Colombo Most Rev. Dr. Oswald Gomis.

He was ordained on the 21st of September 1996 by his grace the Archbishop of Colombo Most. Rev. Dr. Nicolas Marcus. We all as a parish should pray for him and ask the almighty to bless him and strengthen him in his future endeavors. A special plaque was also given to the Parish Priest on behalf of the devotees.
