After religious observences and lighting of the traditional oil lamp the Awurudu Ulela of the Rawathawatta Queen Of Angels' Church organized by the YCS movement kicked off in a blaze of fun filled activities and events for hundreds of devotees Young and old empathizing the fact that we are Sinhalese people. The Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Tyronne Perera and Assistant Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Kasun Fernando were joyfully present to join the parishioners in fun filled activities.
