The Corpus Christi Feast of the Moratuwa Deanery of the Colombo Archdiocese was held with the participation of Episcopal Vicar of Negombo Very. Rev. Fr. Patrick Perera and several other Priests in the Deanery.

The Mass was conducted at the St. Sebastian's Church, Moratuwa. Devotees from, Moratuwa, Rawatawatte, Kadalana, Katukurunda, Koralawalla, and Panadura made up close to 150,000 devotees who filled the church and church grounds up to capacity. After mass a procession took the devotees from the church to the College grounds of the St. Sebastien's College Moratuwa with the Eucharist.

The final blessing was given after the homily at the grounds.
