The Corpus Christi rally which is the Feast of the parish was held. Rev. Fr. Jayantha Fernando was the chief celebrant. The event started off with a procession that took the Blessed Sacrament from the Queen of Angels' Church at Rawatawatte to the Ss. Peter and Paul's Church at Lunawa accompanied by the parishioners of all sub-stations.

After the arrival at the Lunawa Church the Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament was done and Holy mass followed soon after. Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Shamira Cooray oversaw the entire event behind the sense together with the Assistant Priest Rev. Fr. Kasun Fernando.
