A health camp was organized at the Queen Of Angels' Church by the Moratuwa Lion's Club in accordance with their Golden Jubilee. Free Glasses were given to people and many children with impaired vision and also medication with professional doctor's services were offered free of charge.

The parishioners say that thanks must go to Ms. Dilrukshi Lokubalasooriya and the others who were behind this great cause. Such as Ms. Sarogini, Mr. M.S. Fernando, Mr. Lakshman, and Mr. Jayalath.
