A project to give nutritious bowl of soup for the needy children of the Parish was conducted for the first time by the Secret Heart Society, under the guidance of the our Assistant Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Prasanna Fernando and under the supervision of our Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Tyronne Perera. After a blessing, the children were given soups. These children in gratitude for what they have received, gave followers for the Parish Priests.
