A Mother Mary statue has been attacked by a group of people

A Mother Mary statue situated in the church land of the Polkotuwa Road adjoining the cemetery has been attacked and destroyed by a unknown group of people. The statue cubical has been thrown away and the statue smashed and squashed to pieces. The Parish Priest condemns this barbaric behavior and expects fellow Christians to calmly address the problem and pray for a resolution.
