Vespers service of the Lunawa Ss. Peter and Paul's Church was held. The chief celebrant was Rev. Fr. Jayantha Fernando. Rev. Fr. Tyronne Perera (Parish Priest) and Rev. Fr. Kasun Fernando (Assistant Parish Priest) together with Rev. M.G. Edmund (Pastor Uyana Methodist Church) was also present.

A large congregation comprising of devotees from all over the Parish was present. The Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament was done by the chief celebrant Rev. Fr. Jayantha Fernando.
