The Youth Day of the parish was celebrated the mass was organized by the Youth societies of relevant sub-stations. Rev. Fr. Freddie Shanthikumar (Regional Director in Colombo for Youth) officiated the High mass at the Rawatawatta Queen of Angels' Church.

A small gathering was also organized by the Youth society with the presence of the Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Shamira Nirosh Cooray and Assistant Priest Rev. Fr. Kasun Ishara Fernando. After a brief introduction and blast from the past the members kicked off a small yet entertaining musical event which concluded the event.
